Locations of road closures are obtained from Monroe County Emergency Management and public works department, as well as the Florida Highway Patrol. Reports of storm surge, flooding, wind, and other storm events are authoritative sources from the National Hurricane Center and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
