Items are organized by quarters to match the Flood Watch network standard. If a feature is not verified as deployed, it remains Planned.

Q1 2026 (Now)

Data + Integration Improvements In progress

Additional gauges, NOAA overlays, and report credibility improvements
  • Additional USGS stream gauges (surrounding counties where useful).
  • NOAA forecast overlays and clearer alert linking.
  • Photo/GPS validation guidance for community reports.

Operational Hardening Planned

Shared-hosting resilience + performance
  • Cache headers for static assets and shared UI bundles.
  • Automated smoke checks for critical URLs.
  • Document rollback steps for shared-hosting deployment.

Q2 2026 (Next)

Analytics & Reporting (Lightweight) Planned

Basic monthly summaries and trend indicators
  • Simple reporting templates (PDF export) if feasible.
  • Historical event comparisons and "what changed" summaries.

Video Content (Resource-Dependent) Planned

  • Short explainers for residents: what the dashboard shows and how to use it.
  • Optional demonstrations for professional service workflows.

Enhanced Mapping Layers Planned

  • Flood zone overlays, elevation data, and infrastructure layers (where publishable).
  • Toggle layers for evacuation routes and critical assets.

Mobile App + Advanced AI (Funding Required) Planned

  • Mobile app with notifications and offline access.
  • AI predictive modeling and/or sensor expansion (grant-funded).
